  • Transformer platform: the bearing capacity of the hot-dip galvanized angle steel structure should exceed 3 times the transformer weight, and windproof guy wires should also be installed in typhoon-prone areas.
  • Cable terminal: for 10kV lines, cold-shrink silicone rubber terminals are recommended, with a service life 5–8 years longer than heat-shrink terminals.
  • Transformer oil: samples should be taken every year to test breakdown voltage. If it is lower than 30kV, it must be replaced.
  • High-voltage disconnect switch: not all pole-mounted transformers need it, but distributed power access points must be equipped with a visible disconnection point.
