Product Introduction

Single Phase Pole Transformer is an important piece of equipment at the end of the 10kV distribution network, and it is also the last gateway before high-voltage power reaches users. Its main function is to use the principle of electromagnetic induction to step down 10kV high-voltage AC power into 0.4kV (380V/220V) low-voltage AC power that residents, merchants, and small enterprises can directly use. In rural, suburban, and scattered load-area distribution networks, it has the widest coverage and the largest usage.

Product Structure

High-voltage porcelain bushings are installed on the tank cover and equipped with ring-type terminals, suitable for aluminum or copper cables.

The tank cover adopts a circular seam-wrapping structure, with uniform stress and reliable sealing.

The low-voltage bushings and terminals on the tank wall are ring-type bolts with tin-plated surfaces.

Equipped with a self-sealing pressure relief valve.

The upper and lower support lifting lugs of the transformer are manufactured according to ANSI standards.

The tank grounding terminal is a ring-type bolt grounding terminal.

Product Application

It is mainly suitable for scenarios such as 10kV high-voltage incoming step-down, North American outdoor single-phase distribution renovation, distributed power supply in rural remote areas, power supply for small field facilities, and supporting commercial distribution in suburban areas.

It is suitable for distribution projects that require single-pole installation, limited space, and long-term outdoor operation, and is also commonly used distribution equipment for outdoor power grids in North America.

Installation Requirements of Single Phase Pole Mounted Distribution Transformer

Single phase pole mounted distribution transformer can be divided into single-pole type, double-pole type, and H-type pole type according to installation structure, capacity, and local standards.

Single-Pole Type

Generally used for single phase pole mounted distribution transformer with a capacity of 50kVA and below. All are installed on one utility pole, with compact structure, small occupied area, and low cost. It is suitable for scattered farmers, small water conservancy facilities, road lighting, and temporary field power supply.

Double-Pole Type

Generally used for 50kVA–400kVA single phase pole mounted distribution transformer. A platform is built with two utility poles, and the transformer and JP cabinet are installed in layers. It has a stable structure, good heat dissipation, and large operation and maintenance space. Rural concentrated residential areas, suburban merchants, small processing plants, and farms are all main general-purpose applications in distribution networks.

H-Type Pole Type

315kVA–500kVA single phase pole mounted distribution transformer is generally erected on H-type utility poles. Four support columns form a frame structure, leaving sufficient safety distance between high-voltage lines and low-voltage lines. It is suitable for suburban concentrated residential areas, medium-sized commercial centers, and areas with high load density.
