Product Advantages of 100 kVA Pole Mounted Transformer with All-Copper Winding

The reason why all-copper winding pole-mounted transformers have become a mainstream choice lies in their balance between performance and maintenance cost:

Compared with aluminum windings, all-copper coils have lower resistance loss and save more electricity costs during long-term operation.

It adopts ONAN oil-immersed self-cooling design, requiring no additional cooling device. The structure is simple, the maintenance cost is low, and it can operate in outdoor environments from -25°C to 40°C.

The fully sealed structure adopts weather-resistant and anti-corrosion processes, which can withstand harsh conditions such as wind, sand, and salt fog, and can operate stably even in coastal areas and industrial zones.

100 kVA Pole Mounted Transformer Product Application

  • Urban Commercial Districts: To reduce high maintenance costs of underground cables, oil-immersed pole-mounted transformers are used to supply power intensively to street shops.
  • Grid Connection Points for PV: Increase the voltage of distributed photovoltaic power before grid connection. Intelligent monitoring interface model recommended.
  • Agricultural Irrigation Zones: Power consumption management is made by moisture-proof transformers with automatic switching devices for different seasons.

FAQ

Are all pole-mounted transformers oil-immersed?

It depends on working conditions. Generally, oil-immersed transformers are widely used outdoors, while dry-type transformers are mostly adopted indoors, which is determined by the structural characteristics of oil-immersed and dry-type transformers.

What is your production lead time?

Normally 30 to 60 calendar days; rush orders are acceptable for special demands.

How to handle slight damage on conductive rods and porcelain bushings of pole-mounted transformers?

  1. Poor contact between transformer conductive rods and leads may cause oxidation or electric corrosion on contact surfaces. Polish the contact surfaces with abrasive paper of over 100 mesh before putting the transformer back into service.
  2. The bushings shall be clean, crack-free and intact without damaged sheds. Replace the bushings immediately if any of the above defects exist.
  3. For slight oil leakage from bushing sealing gaskets, tighten the bushing fixing screws and take measures to prevent screw rotation.
