Basic Features

This transformer adopts a three-phase double-winding design, that is, the primary side (input side) and the secondary side (output side) each contain three independent windings, and voltage conversion is realized through electromagnetic coupling. Its core structure consists of core, winding, insulating oil and oil tank: the core adopts high-permeability grain-oriented silicon steel sheets stacked together to reduce no-load loss; the winding is wound with all-copper conductors, whose thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity are better than aluminum materials, reducing heat accumulation during operation; insulating oil not only fills the gaps between windings, but also takes away heat through circulating flow, while providing insulation protection; the oil tank serves as the overall supporting structure, ensuring the sealing and safety of the equipment.

Procedure for Scientific Selection of 2500 KVA Three Phase Oil Filled Distribution Transformer

  1. Capacity matching: Choose based on the real power load. If the total power of a factory workshop is 2000kW, then a 2500kVA transformer should be selected with 1.2 times load margin reserved.
  2. Voltage level: Common specifications are 35kV/10kV. The 10 kV is applicable to small and medium-sized factories. The 35 kV is applicable to large enterprises or regional substations.
  3. Installation environment: Outdoor installation should be rainproof, sunproof and ventilated; indoor installation should be reserved for heat dissipation space. In the case of coastal areas, using anti-corrosion transformers to avoid salt corrosion is recommended.
